1 Identifying the elements and principle of design
I had a lot problem identifying the elements and principle of design. I did refer many examples in internet to make sure i choose the right thing for the right picture. I did go through the meaning of design elements and principles before i can explain and identify them. The last thing to do is find a perfect angle that can establish the elements and principles.
2 Data capturing and stitching process
Well this is the best part where i struggled a lot. My photography knowledge challenged me a lot when i need to take 360 picture of the place where i choose. I did take picture from different angle of the same place several time to make sure my raw data is good enough to stitch. First trial was definitely a fail and frustration and i took the pictures all over again to stitch promptly. After few trials i manage to stitch the pictures in autodesk stitcher with lesser holes. Then i saved it in cubical image form and found it with holes that can actually edited. At last, i manage to fix those holes using photoshop cs3. The hotspots we gathered in a group and combine all our QTVR in a folder and link it to each other.
3 Mistakes and lesson learned
Mistakes that i did throughout this assignment, most prominent one is when i took picture at first i never use tripod so my pictures went blur and made my stitching goes wrong. I even had problem with setting the camera angle where we have to set it right or else the pictures goes wrong. Ma serious trouble was taking the picture 90 degrees top and bottom, i had to redo that part so many time to get it right. setting right exposure is also a matter that i learned after few trials. Stitching those pictures thought me a lot. I even had problem with the software activation and manage to solve it.
